Hole 7 is being stripped. It was originally skipped over intentionally to combat a few things:
- The bridge needed to be stabilized so that equipment could safely cross over.
- The contamination of kikuyugrass that covered roughly 60% of this island is an unwanted weed that can be very difficult to manage if not contained. We wanted to make sure we did what we could to control the spread by spraying out the island with a mix of herbicides before any of it was stripped and hauled off.
