Hole 8 has gone through a makeover to say the least. Many dramatic changes help improve the aesthetics while also increasing the strategy of how to play this hole. The left side fairway bunker is placed back to original intent to be used as an aiming bunker from the tee. While many golfers hit there balls here, it will now make them think if they should use a shorter wood off the tee rather than challenge the right side bunker with a driver. The elevation of the back greenside bunker has been raised to reveal the bunker sand from the middle of the fairway, which was a bit hidden before.
The hole is in it's final changes and the green complex is ready for liner next week and sod to follow. Drainage will be added to the fairway bunkers next week.
